Terms of Service

SARAJOD provides tools to log expenses, track udhar and lending, scan bills, manage profiles (personal, family, shop, freelance, business), view statements, split expenses, and receive reminders. Features may change as we improve the product. SARAJOD is currently offered in beta; availability may vary by platform and region.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate registration information, including a valid mobile number for OTP verification.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your PIN and device secure.

• You retain ownership of the transactions, contacts, and files you submit.
• You grant SARAJOD a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service.
• You represent that you have the right to upload content (including bill images and contact selections) and that it does not violate others' rights.

You agree not to:

• Use SARAJOD for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or its security.
• Upload malware or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Misrepresent AI-generated suggestions as professional tax, legal, or accounting advice.

SARAJOD helps you organize records and insights. It is not a bank, lender, payment processor, or tax advisor. You are responsible for your financial decisions, statutory compliance (including GST and income tax), and verifying AI or OCR output before relying on it.

When you invite operators or share collections, you control their permissions (viewer or editor). You are responsible for who you grant access to and for reconciling shared ledger activity.

SARAJOD may offer free and paid plans in the future. Prices, billing terms, and refunds will be shown in the app or on our website before you are charged.

SARAJOD, its logo, UI, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or software except as needed to use the service.

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, SARAJOD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

• You may stop using SARAJOD and request account deletion at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on sarajod.com/terms with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
